Our Versions of the Accident

First, my side:

I was heading south on Prospect at about 30 - 35 mph when I saw the Pickup start to make a left turn, then hesitate as he saw me, then continue with his turn. By the time he restarted his turn, I was 50 to 100 feet from him and had no way to stop or swerve. There was eastbound traffic waiting for the light to my right as well as a divider with a traffic light. My other option might have been the wrong side of the street, but I could not see there and really couldn't make the lane change that fast. My only option was to try and stop. I could not, and so I hit the pickup truck.

I will try to scan in my deposition to AAA or State Farm. I gave both depositions within a week of the accident.

Mike's Version(s)*:

The first I heard was from my State Farm adjuster, Grace. She told me that Mike claimed I ran the red light and hit him

Later, this changed to I ran the red light and was speeding.

Late still, the AAA adjuster, Gina, told me thatMike was not sure of the light, but he was sure I was speeding.

Later, after the witnesses backed up my story, Mike gave his deposition over a month after the accident. This story fit very well with the ambulance crew. He now says that the light was green. He says that he saw me. He says that I was going 45 - 50 mph. When he turned, I hit him.
